What is the form of treatment provided by Hands For You Trust?

Hands For You Trust offers residential rehabilitation and de-addiction help to individuals suffering from alcohol addiction, drug addiction and some forms of behavioral addiction. Our facility is based on medical help, counseling and therapy.

What addictions does our rehabilitation center treat?

Individuals who suffer from alcohol addiction and substance abuse, as well as behavioral problems like gambling, gaming, addiction to the internet or mobile usage and other compulsive behaviors, are assisted in our centre depending on their personal situation and needs.

Where is Hands For You Trust located?

Our facility for residential rehab is based at Grace Villa, Chickuwadi, Marve Road, behind Saint Anthony Church/School (Malwani Church), Malad West, Mumbai – 400095. Please feel free to contact our facility to make an appointment.

What kinds of therapy do you offer in your rehabilitation program?

We include various types of therapy in our program, such as individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), REBT (rational emotive behaviour therapy), mindfulness practices, yoga, meditation, art therapy, music therapy and other structured activities.

Is medical supervision provided during rehabilitation?

Yes. Our facility has on-site professionals available throughout the day. Physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, specialists on addictions and psychotherapy are included in accordance with individual needs and plans of treatment.

How long will the process of rehabilitation last?

The answer depends on many factors: the level of addiction, treatment experience, health issues, as well as individual factors. Our rehabilitation programs might last between 8 and 24 weeks. We highly recommend conducting an evaluation prior to choosing the proper program.

Does Hands For You Trust conduct family therapy?

Yes. We believe that the participation of the family members plays a significant role in the process of rehabilitation. What is our 12-step program?

What types of accommodation does your center offer?

Our residential center, measuring around 10,000 square feet, offers accommodations such as air-conditioned dormitories, twin sharing, deluxe rooms, and VIP rooms. The accommodations offer attached bathrooms and selected recreational facilities as per the accommodation type.

Are there any facilities like a gym or recreation center in the center?

Yes, we have a mini gym and we offer activities like yoga, meditation, exercising and social gatherings. The said activities have been provided to motivate a healthy daily routine of the patients during residential treatment.

How do you keep families connected to the patients?

We have provided a live webcam facility for the families to stay connected with their loved ones. The visiting and communication procedures are guided by the treatment policies of the center and as per the advice of the counselor.

Are relatives allowed to meet the patients during the treatment procedure?

Yes, relatives can be made to visit patients as per the treatment plan. Generally, relatives are allowed to meet the patients post the period suggested by the counselor for the treatment. The visiting hours range from 9 AM to 6 PM as per the prior appointment.

What type of information should be provided prior to admission?

The following information should be provided – patient’s treatment history, drug/substance use history, past treatment records, behavioral problems, family relationships, habits and information regarding circumstances that could have led to addiction.

What things are banned inside the center?

Some of the items that cannot be brought into the center include cigarettes, beedies, tobacco, gutkha, medicines/drugs, and other prohibited items. Certain foods may also be restricted as per the rules of the center.

How should one begin the admission process?

We suggest that one gets in touch with Hands For You Trust and schedule an appointment with our counsellor, who will be able to grasp the client’s condition and talk about the procedure of treatment, the period required, as well as about admission and fees.

Is there any support from the center following residential treatment?
